Access to Twisted Kingdoms, and the computing resources required to operate Twisted Kingdoms, is granted on a revocable basis, and at no time is this access guaranteed.

Twisted Kingdoms' services may be used only for lawful purposes. Transmission or solicitation for reception of material which violates US Federal or Indiana State Law, any Policy of the site where the MUCK operates, or state or local law of the area in which you reside is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, material that is threatening, libelous, or violates trade-secret, patent, or copy-right protections.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Twisted Kingdoms, its staff, the owners/operators of the computing resources, and all other parties connected with the administration of Twisted Kingdoms from all claims which are a result of your usage, without limitation. You agree that any traffic which originates from your character or connection is your legal responsibility.

Notwithstanding the above, you agree that should Twisted Kingdoms or its staff be found liable in a court of law for any action or lack of action related to your use of Twisted Kingdoms, our liability is limited to $0.00.

As a general rule, nothing you ever type here is really private. All commands are logged for security, abuse, and bug-fix issues, meaning everything you type is logged into a command log file that the Wizards have access to. Be that as it may, the Wizards do not have the time or the inclination to slog through thousands upon thousands of lines of spam looking for dirt. So in reality, it's all moderately private, but if you abuse the system, we have the resources at our disposal to hold you accountable.

As far as information that is available on the muck, to any wizard:

Email

We require a valid email address. This is used as a security measure, for your benefit. If you ever lose your password, or have some other problem with your account, it's the only thing we have that we can link your identity to. If you need a password reset, that is where the information will be sent. If you have changed email addresses, and haven't updated the information on the muck, then we won't be able to help you because we can't verify who you are. As such, it is your responsibility to keep this information updated. Email and Email #update are your friends. Your email address as entered on the MUCK will never be given to anyone, sold to anyone, or used for any other purpose than to verify your identity. You do have the option of making your email address public. If you do this, then anyone who logs onto the muck, with the exception of Guests, will be able to see it, and thus, we have no way to control how it is used. Please keep that in mind if you decide to make it public.
